Last week we took off for a whirlwind of a trip to Atlanta, GA. Freya was going to Girl's Camp so we invited her husband along for the trip. We arrived on a Monday night . We spent the day together on Tuesday and Wednesday and even got to go to a Braves game on Wednesday night. Then on Thursday the fun began. We were helping my sister move furniture from a townhouse they sold back to Tallahassee. The boys set off to get the UHaul and the goods around 9:30am and we never got home until about 12:30am but we have a sweet bedroom set to enjoy from their labors (and Freya & Brett have quite the nice living room ensemble as well)
My sister made us stay in the basement. How tragic! There were only 2 TVs, one was actually more like a movie screen, a pool table, a treadmill, a huge couch, a comfy bed, a bathroom and a kitchen. We were so bored...
And I actually used the treadmill!
Here we are with the cutest kids in Atlanta! And the Braves won!!!
My sister said watching them load this truck was like a live game of Tetris. It was packed from floor to ceiling all the way to the back door.
It sure is nice to actually have a headboard, footboard and side tables. It sure beats the TV box and plastic drawers we were using before. And now it's even a king size bed! When Evan arrived home from work on Sunday morning I was awakened when my feet were suddenly uncovered. Somehow I had managed to turn myself 90 degrees and my feet were on his pillow. Oops! I guess even a bigger bed won't solve my crazy moving.
My 3 sisters have furnished and decorated our bedroom. My other 2 sisters bought us the most amazing mother of pearl lamps. I just love them (my sisters and the lamps)!
We sure had a great trip and we can't wait to go back!

LOVE your comforter! And the lamps! And congrats on the king size bed! We're still (all three of us!) in a full! Man we need to upgrade!
